This has been a strange year indeed with COVID throwing a spanner in the works. We wanted to start by thanking all the educators out there  for basically being on the front line during the pandemic and looking after all our little ones.

2020 has been an amazing year for us at OWNA as we go from strength to strength with our product offering and the release of our CCS system. We've also built a ton of other useful features as well (highlighted below). On top of that we have onboarded so many new Centres which will definitely help us improve with differing opinions and feedback as we continue to advance the platform in 2021. Look out!

We are the first to admit that our CCS roll out was a bit rocky at the start but thank you for persisting with us, providing valuable feedback and not yelling at us. For those using our CCS, I am sure you are all now at the point where everything is running smoothly. For those not using our CCS - what are you waiting for? Our CCS is free and should streamline everything as it is all done on the same platform.

January
- OWNA officially approved for CCS
- Features Launched: Discussion Forum on Staff Reflections, Improved Sleep & Check feature, Risk Assessments & Capture Visitor Photos.

February
- Beta Testing CCS with a handful of our Centre(s
- Features Launched: Link posts to Children’s Goals, Assign Children to Staff Focus Groups & Centre Waitlist Forms.

March
- COVID restrictions (free childcare) pauses our CCS beta testing
- Features Launched: Staff Schedule highlighting important training & expiry dates and Improve Notifications Alerts.

April
- Announced that OWNA are going to work on OWNA for Schools :)
- Features Launched: Utilisation Report, Room Leaders Highlighted, Ability to create Polls and Enhanced Super User Dashboard.

May
- Features Launched: Build your own Custom Forms, Advanced Booking Patterns and Children Achievement Checklists.

June
- Moved into our new office in Dural
- Features Launched: Prompt parents to sign Outstanding Incident Reports and other stuff on signing in/out 

July
- Launch CCS to all of our Centres
- Launch OWNA for Work (BETA)
- Features Launched: Upload Photo ID via App for Parents, CCS Attendances submission warning screen & Enrolment Forms.

- Improvements to CCS platform based on feedback
- Features Launched: OWNA Swap Shop, Ability to record Audio and PDF via the App & Weekly Attendances on App.

- Peter and Danielle joins the Support Team

- Partnership with Schooling Online Kids
- Features Launched: OWNA Library and Online Schooling Kids on the App

- OWNA becomes a Xero Certified Partner
- Features Launched: Children Temperature Checklist and Ability to Bulk Sign in/out children by Staff

You know you are doing alright when your competitors tell potential customers "Don't go with them, they're too young". They can't compete against our offering so they resort to downplaying our age/experience. Love it. Happy 4th Birthday to us. One more year until big school...
